Chuck Statler - Owner/Operator &
Guide
Hi, I’m Chuck Statler, licensed Pennsylvania fishing guide, as well as, founder and owner of Chuck’s Outdoor Adventures. My father introduced me to fly fishing when I was only eight years old, by age 10 I’d caught my first Trout, on a fly I created, later that same year I landed my first Great Lakes Steelhead, at 12 I had a small fly tying business, that provided patterns for my Dad’s buddies and their friends.
Since then I have had the privilege to fish everything from the streams in Pennsylvania, where I grew up, to the wild rivers of Alaska, where I lived out my fly fishing dreams.
All in all I’ve had about 30 + years of fly fishing and fly tying experience, a
passion for the great outdoors, formal study in Natural Resources &
Environmental Education, and I’d love the opportunity to share it with you.
Grant Lyons - Guide
Hi, my name is Grant Lyons and I am an avid Fly fisherman. I reside in the heart of Mohican Country, near Loudonville, Ohio.
My days off are spent fishing and exploring the Mohican/Clear Fork River for Brown trout and Smallmouth bass and any other fish that will take a fly. During the Winter/Spring season I can be found on the Vermillion River chasing Steelhead. I have experienced the pleasure of catching Bluegills in a pond, all the way up to Snook and Tarpon in the Gulf of Mexico.
I have a passion for fly fishing and fly tying, in which I specialize in creating flies made from Alpaca fiber. I am very fortunate to live in an area with so many wonderful fishing opportunities. |
